This personal photography and travel website is operated by Angelo Genovese.

First-party visit statistics
The website uses a lightweight first-party analytics system to understand overall traffic. It records page-view totals, daily visitor totals and, when available, the visitor's country.
Raw IP addresses are not stored in the analytics database. For daily visitor counting, the server temporarily uses the IP address and browser user-agent to create a one-way SHA-256 identifier that changes every day. The stored identifier is not intended to identify a person across different days.
Country detection is not currently configured, so visits may appear as “Unknown”.
Analytics records are retained for up to approximately 730 days and are used only to understand the site's audience and traffic.
Cookies and local browser data
The site does not use advertising or marketing cookies. It uses technically necessary session data for functions such as administration and payment/download state. After a completed photograph purchase, a limited-duration first-party cookie may be stored so the same browser can continue to access the purchased full-resolution download for the stated availability period.
Payments
Full-resolution photograph purchases are processed by PayPal. When you choose to pay, payment information is exchanged directly with PayPal and PayPal's privacy terms apply to its processing. This website stores the information needed to verify and fulfil the purchase, such as the PayPal order/capture identifiers, payment status, amount/currency, completion time and, when supplied by PayPal, payer email. Card details are not stored by this website.
External services and resources
Some pages request resources from third-party services. These can receive technical request information such as your IP address and browser headers when the resource is loaded. The site currently uses Google Fonts, YouTube thumbnail images, OpenStreetMap map tiles and Leaflet resources. Links or sharing actions may also open YouTube, Instagram, WhatsApp or Facebook; their own privacy policies apply once you interact with those services.
Server logs and security
The web server and reverse proxy may create ordinary technical logs containing information such as timestamps, requested paths, IP addresses, browser details and error information. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting and operation of the service and are separate from the site's privacy-minimised visitor statistics.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights concerning personal data associated with you, including access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority. For users in Italy, the supervisory authority is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Changes
This notice may be updated when the website's features or service providers change. The current version reflects the site's first-party analytics, social-sharing features and PayPal photo-download system.
